We previously heard a number of rumors about the new iPhone SE 2. The handset is said to share a similar design to the existing iPhone SE, although the handset will get a number of upgrades.
Now a render for the iPhone SE 2 has appeared online, the render is from smartphone case maker Olixar, this can be seen above and it suggests that the new 2018 iPhone SE will come with a notch like the iPhone X.
This sounds interesting, but it is not necessarily correct, unless the previous rumors we have heard about the device are wrong. Apple’s new iPhone SE is not expected to come with Face ID, so there would be no need for the handset to feature a notch.
This would also increase the price of the handset and we have previously heard that the new handset should cost around the same as the current devices which is $349.
Previous rumors have suggested that the new iPhone SE’s upgrades would include wireless charging, a new processor, more RAM and updated cameras with a very similar design. The handset is rumored to be powered by the Apple A10 Fusion processor and will apparently feature 2GB of RAM.
Other rumored specifications on the handset will include a choice of storage between 32GB and 64GB and some new cameras. The handset is expected to have a FaceTime HD camera on the front for Selfies and FaceTime, on the back it will come with a single 12 megapixel camera.
Apple could possibly launch this new iPhone at their Worldwide Developer Conference next month, as soon as we get some more details about the handset, we will let you guys know.
