We previously heard that the new HTC U12+ would be launching in May and now it looks like we have a release date for the handset.
HTC has posted on Twitter about the device and it would appear that they will be holding a press conference on the 23rd of May, you can see the tweet below.

Previous rumors have suggested that the handset will come with a Snapdragon 845 processor and it will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. It is also rumored to feature a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5.
Other rumored specifications include a front and rear cameras, on he front there will be two 8 megapixel cameras for Selfies. On the back there will also be two cameras, one with a 12 megapixel sensor and the other a 16 megapixel sensor. The handset will also come with wireless charging, HTC Boomsound and Android Oreo.
