Outdoor adventurers, campers and explorers may be interested in the new Bitterroot dry bag, which has been designed to combine three basic camping necessities into one useful piece of gear. Watch the video below for a full explanation on each individual feature as well as learn more about its construction.
The Bitterroot is an 18-Liter bag made from National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved water potable material. It will keep your gear dry, filter water and inflate your air mattress. The Bitterroot dry bag has this week launched by a Kickstarter and is available to back with early bird pledges available from $85 offering a considerable saving off the hundred and $45 recommended retail price which will take effect once the Kickstarter campaign completes.
“When paired with Aquamira’s Frontier Max (included), you will have virus level water filtration no matter where your adventures take you. In a gravity-fed configuration, the Bitterroot will filter a liter of water approximately every 3 minutes (times may vary depending on the amount of sediment in the water). Prime the filter with a few pumps of the bulb and let the system work hands-free thereafter. And when you’re finished, turn the bag inside out and shake the water off. The hydrophobic material will dry in an instant allowing you to put your important items back under cover.” For more information on the Bitterroot dry bag and to place a pledge jump over to the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below.
